Durham Music Service held an event which hoped to get as many schools as possible involved within Durham and Darlington to come alive with music! Their aims were:

•To celebrate, publicise and bring together everyday music making with musical performances of all genres and levels across the hub

•Engage pupils who historically have had less opportunity to perform to feel the power of collective music making wherever they are

•Inspire: every participant, parent, school, teacher and performer, has a 'sense of the whole' being part of something big and exciting.

We all had great fun taking part in the event, singing together and sharing the songs which we had learned. Well done, everyone!
